General information about the huts

Täschhütte (2,701 m)
The Täschhütte is situated at 2,701 m above the Täschalp and can accommodate 78 guests. Originally built in 1945, it was extended and modernized in 2007/08. The hut serves as a starting point for tours to the surrounding four-thousand-metre peaks of the Mischabel group and offers an impressive panoramic view from the Monte Rosa massif to the Weisshorn. The simple, functional facilities are designed to meet the needs of hikers and mountaineers.

Ze Seewjinu Mountain Lodge (2,295 m)
The Ze Seewjinu Mountain Lodge is located at an altitude of 2,295 m between Gornergrat and Rothorn. The cozy lodge offers double, triple and quadruple rooms with private or shared bathrooms as well as a dormitory for 14 people. In summer it can only be reached on foot or by mountain bike and its location amidst the alpine flora and the nearby Grünsee invites you to explore.

Monte Rosa Hut (2,883 m)
The Monte Rosa Hut at 2,883 m is a modern mountain hut with 120 beds. Newly built in 2009, it impresses with its innovative architecture, reminiscent of a rock crystal, and its sustainable energy supply. The hut serves as a starting point for glacier tours and ascents in the Monte Rosa massif, including the Dufourspitze. The approach is via the Gorner Glacier and requires alpine experience.
