Meet your mountain guide at 08:30 at the ZERMATTERS Homebase
Train journey to Trockener Steg, where your tour will start
From here, you will walk across the Furgg Glacier towards Schwarzsee and visit the ice caves along the way
From Schwarzsee, you will take the cable car back down to the valley
Additional costs
- Rental equipment: CHF 15.00 per person, available at the ZERMATTERS Homebase
- Gondela to Trockener Steg, from CHF 41.00, and return journey from Schwarzsee, from CHF 31.00 (more information can be found here)
- Good waterproof hiking boots
- Small backpack, max. 30 liters
- Comfortable, warm and waterproof hiking clothes
- Water and windproof jacket
- Hat / headband
- Sunglasses and sun cream
- Warm drinks
- Snacks (high-energy food such as chocolate, dried fruit)

The group offer requires a minimum number of 3 participants. A maximum of 6 participants per mountain guide can take part in the tour (depending on conditions). If the minimum number of participants is not reached, it is possible that the tour cannot take place.
