1You enjoy hiking on mountain trails with moderate inclines and feel comfortable on natural, sometimes narrow paths. Sure-footedness is required. You easily handle simple obstacles like roots or steps. (≈ T2 level) -

Program
Your hiking guide will meet you at the ZERMATTERS home base at the time of your choice. On site, you will equip yourselves with the necessary equipment and discuss the route
During approx. 3 hours you will explore the winter wonderland of Zermatt - not only snowshoeing, but also the surrounding scenery and the feeling of winter sports
Return to Zermatt and say goodbye
Additional costs
- Rental equipment (snowshoes, avalanche transceiver and poles): CHF 15.00 per person, available at the ZERMATTERS Homebase
- Any train rides (with the Gornergrat Bahn or Zermatt Bergbahnen AG, depending on the route)
- Good waterproof hiking boots
- Small backpack, max. 30 liters
- Comfortable, warm and waterproof hiking clothes
- Water and windproof jacket
- Hat / headband
- Sunglasses and sun cream
- Warm drinks
- Snacks (high-energy food such as chocolate, dried fruit)
