In the Snowli course, children experience their first steps on skis - in a safe, lovingly designed environment. The Snowli Kinderland on the Riffelberg offers the best conditions for a gentle introduction to snow sports - adapted to the age and ability of each child. They learn balance, gliding and braking in a playful way with figures and stories. The focus is on the joy of winter sports. Our snow sports instructors use their patience and experience to create a motivating learning environment.
Levels
In the Snowli course, children learn to ski with the help of animal friends: The elephant helps them to walk wide, the penguin shows them how to keep their balance and the kangaroo helps them to hop playfully. Each animal represents a movement or exercise that makes skiing easier - simple, easy to understand and lots of fun. This makes getting into snow sports a real adventure!
The Snowli lessons are based on the level of the Swiss Snow Kids Village and are divided into three levels at the ZERMATTERS: Snowli Prince, Snowli King and Snowli Star. The children are assigned to the appropriate level by the snow sports instructors.

Program
Lessons start on Monday. It is also possible to start on Tuesday or Wednesday - however, we recommend starting the week on Monday if possible, as this allows the groups to start the week together. The snow sports instructors meet the children at 08:45 in front of the tourist office at Zermatt train station. Together they cross the station square to the Gornergratbahn and take the special train to Riffelberg, where the Snowli Village is located, at 09:12. There the children spend the morning in the snow - with age-appropriate lessons, games and exercise. Children on the half-day course are picked up by their parents directly at the Snowli Park at 11:45 am. The full-day participants have lunch together with the group in the Riffelhaus (included in the price) and ski again in the afternoon. At the end of the lesson, the teacher accompanies the children back to the village on the special train. On Friday there is an optional final race with a medal ceremony - a highlight for all little ski stars.
