Glacier hike on the Lower Theodul Glacier
On this spectacular tour from Trockener Steg to the Lower Theodul Glacier and back to the Gandegg hut, fitness and endurance are required to master the 600 metre elevation. Surrounded by one of the largest mountain groups in the Alps with the 4'164-metre-high Breithorn in the centre, you are immersed in the fascinating world of the glaciers that surround the massif on all sides.
The guided glacier hike gives an insight into the natural phenomena - from crevasses to the formation of moraines.
