You will meet your guide at the Air Zermatt heliport at the previously agreed time in the morning. The helicopter will take you up to Alphubeljoch, the point of departure of your freeride descent. After approximately 3 hours, you will arrive in Täsch, from where you will take a taxi or train to get back to Zermatt.
As early as possible, i. e. approximately 1 or 2 weeks in advance; short-term registration is possible subject to availability.
All participants must arrange their own insurance.
You are an excellent off-piste skier who feels perfectly comfortable in all types of snow and already have some experience skiing in deep snow!
It goes without saying that we respect protected wildlife areas and won’t go skiing in wildlife habitats.
This descent is also suitable for snowboarders.
Don't forget to bring your GoPro/camera—the mountains and glaciers are truly spectacular!
Bring warm winter clothing and your freeride and avalanche safety equipment (shovel and probe, airbag backpack). It’s also possible to rent freeride equipment in any of Zermatt’s sports shops.
