rental costs for freeride equipment, (skiing boots, freeride skis!)
You will meet your guide at the Air Zermatt heliport at the previously agreed time in the morning. The helicopter will take you to the landing area at 4,200m. After enjoying a 3-hour freeride descent down the glacier you will reach the ski pistes of Furi, where the tour will end.
As early as possible, i. e. approximately 2 weeks in advance; short-term registration is possible subject to availability.
All participants must arrange their own insurance.
You are an excellent on-piste skier who feels comfortable skiing off-piste in all types of snow, including deep powder.
This tour is available for skiers only (Sorry snowboarders, the terrain is too flat for you! Alphubeljoch would be a great alternative though).
Don't forget to bring your GoPro/camera—the mountains and glaciers are truly spectacular!
Bring warm winter clothing and your freeride equipment (shovel and probe, airbag backpack). It’s also possible to rent freeride equipment in any of Zermatt’s sports shops.
