Boardtour La Traversata
Thanks to splitboards and ski lifts, you can easily reach all the magical places that on-piste snowboarder can't get to!
After a short effort, a new world opens up, far from the hustle and bustle! Your efforts will be more than rewarded with turns in untracked slopes, high alpine landscapes and glaciers!
Prerequisite for all snowboard tours: You are a very good snowboarder, manage well off-piste in any type of snow and have already snowboarded in deep snow! If this is not the case, then you can learn all about it in a freeride lesson with us!
Boardtour La Traversata
A tour for active skiers, ski tourers and adventure lovers. The La Traversata leads via a Via Ferrata and lets freeriders get their money's worth. Very worthwhile climbing ascent with great views.
- Meeting with your mountain guide at the scheduled time at the bottom station of the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise
- Followed by a ride with the cable car and chairlift to the Furggstattel
- From there you start the board tour "La Traversata" (2-3 hours ascent) with descent to Cervinia
- Afterwards return to Zermatt
- After approx. 5-6 hours you are back in Zermatt
With a private mountain guide:
- from CHF 720.00 for 1-3 persons
(+ CHF 40.00 for each additional person)
- International snowboard pass: from CHF 110.00 per day
- Lunch
- Rental equipment for board tours: From CHF 80.00 per day, available in a sports shop in Zermatt
- Avalanche equipment: shovel, probe and transceiver can be rented with us at the special rate of CHF 15.00 per person
- Via ferrata set can be rented in our office at the rate of CHF 15.00 (per person) from 17:00 the day before.
- The rented equipment has to be returned to the office after the tour at the latest by 17:00
