SKITOUR BREITHORN WITH SKI DESCENT ON THE UNTERER THEODULGLACIER
The Breithorn (4164 m above sea level) in the Valais Alps is considered to be one of the most easy 4000 m in the Alps even in winter. With the cable car you reach the station Klein Matterhorn station at 3800 m above sea level. From there it is just 380 meters ascent to the summit.
approx. 4 hours; of which 2 hours are ascent
Daily from beginning of February until end of April (depending on the conditions)
With a private mountain guide:
- Minimum 1 person
- Maximum 6 persons
In a group:
- Minimum 4 persons
- Maximum 6 persons
- Winter: Meeting point at 08:15 a.m. at the Matterhorn Express station
- You will then take the cable car to the Klein Matterhorn station, the starting point for the climb.
- From the summit of the Breithorn, you will descend to the Breithorn plateau, where you will start your descent to Zermatt over the Unterer Theodul glacier
- Good on piste skier, off piste experience
- Good acclimatization
With a private mountain guide:
- From CHF 720.00 for 1-3 persons (CHF 40.00 each additional person)
In a group:
- From CHF 220.00 per person (Minimum 4 persons)
- Zermatt Ski pass from CHF 85.00
- Avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe and harness can be rented at our office at the special rate of CHF 15.00 (per person) from 05:00 p.m. the day before.
- The rented material must be returned after the course to the office at 05:00 p.m. at the latest.
