Fatbike Night-Ride by Beat Habegger
Cruising through the winter on wide tires - nothing stops you. The modified mountain bikes with up to five inches wide tires provide the necessary grip for this snow adventure. Originally invented in Alaska, fat bikes are now also used in Zermatt during winter.

Only the crunch of the snow under our extra wide mountain bike tyres can be heard. Special lamps light up the way. Outside the light cone it is pitch dark. A mystical atmosphere!

It is not your first day on a mountain bike and you are able to ride steep parts slowly and in a controlled way. Your ZERMATTERS-Bike-Guide will of course help you with tips and tricks!
