Easy Guided Glacier Tour

Put on crampons for the first time and dive into the endless world of the Zermatt glaciers - exploring the glacier world well secured with an experienced mountain guide is an unforgettable experience!

From Zermatt, the cable car will take you on an impressive panoramic trip over partly jagged glaciers to the Plateau Rosa station at over 3,400 metres above sea level (CH / I border). The ZERMATTERS mountain guide welcomes you in the SnowXperience Plateau Rosa Shop and equips you with crampons and a harness before the hike on the Plateau Rosa glacier begins. Dare to take your first steps on the perpetual ice, gain experience in the use of crampons, and all this surrounded by mighty peaks - book the glacier experience now!

PROGRAM:

Independent ride with the cable car to Plateau Rosa
Meeting point at the SnowXperience Shop at the Plateau Rosa mountain station
Collection of the equipment
Start of the short glacier hike
Hiking time: Approx. 1.5 hours

REQUIREMENTS:

Steadiness, sense of balance, and otherwise no previous experience necessary

RATE:

With a private mountain guide: CHF 360.00 für 1 to 3 people, each additional person + CHF 40.00
In a group: CHF 95.00 per person (from 4 people)

Please note that for group tours the minimum number of participants must be reached in order for the tour to take place. If this is not the case, you can decide at short notice whether you want to cancel or postpone the tour, or whether you want to do it with a private mountain guide.
