SKITOUR TÊTE BLANCHE – TRAINING PATROUILLE DES GLACIERS (PDG)
We offer you the ski tour to the Tête Blanche 3724 m above sea level as preparation for the PDG (Patrouille des Glaciers) - the hardest ski touring race in the world - as a day tour.
approx. 6-7 hours; of which 4-5 hours are ascent
Daily possible from the beginning of February to the end of April (depending on conditions)
With a private mountain guide:
- Minimum 1 person
- Maximum 6 persons
- 08:15 Meeting point with your mountain guide at the valley station Klein Matterhorn (Dorsaz sport/level gondola)
- Afterwards ride with the mountain railways to Schwarzsee
- Then you ride to Staffel where you start your ascent
- Afterwards return journey to Zermatt at the end of the afternoon

With a private mountain guide:
- CHF 950.00 for 1-3 persons, each additional person CHF 50.00 (maximum 6 persons)
- Ski pass: from CHF 50.00 per person
- Lunch
- Rental equipment: From CHF 80.00 per day, available in a sports shop in Zermatt
- Avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, airbag, can be collected from our office at a special price of 40.00 CHF (per person) from 17:00 the day before.
- The rented equipment must be returned to the office after the tour by 17:00 at the latest.
